Meet Michele Fuller, Jag Grewal the Suncoast’s premier Commercial Real Estate team.
Michele Fuller
Before losing her heart to Sarasota and settling here nearly a decade ago, Michele Fuller lent new meaning to the old real estate adage “location, location, location”.
Born in Washington, D.C. to a family in Foreign Service, she was two months old when they moved to Southeast Asia. Michele spent her youth there, living in India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Her family truly embraced the people and cultures of these places and the experience has informed and enriched every aspect of Michele’s life since.
When she returned to United States Michele moved to Martha’s Vineyard where she owned and operated a small hotel. As her business grew and the hotel expanded, she found herself more and more interested in the real estate aspect of the business. This led to a series of real estate investments and her eventual move here.
Three years ago Michele joined Jag Grewal at Coldwell Banker. Her talents and his have proved to be perfectly synergistic: they are now Coldwell Banker’s number one Commercial Real Estate team on the Suncoast of Florida.
Recently Michele returned to that part of the world where she grew up and adopted a beautiful baby boy, Raj.

It was a long and winding road that brought Jag Grewal to Sarasota eight years ago. Born in West Malaysia, he went elementary school there. Then it was on to Singapore, and middle school. At 14, the family immigrated to Australia, where Jag completed high school at 16 and won a scholarship to University. While only one of two students to successfully complete a rigorous program in Electrical Engineering, he decided upon graduation to join his father’s property development company and learn the business.
It was quite an education. High interest rates in Australia in the late 80’s and early 90’s hurt the market. So Jag not only learned how to manage real estate investments successfully in exuberant times, he learned how to manage them successfully in a volatile environment. And he learned he had a passion for the business.
Demanding, fast and unforgiving, the game of squash is a passion of Jag’s. In 2005 he organized and hosted an event that attracted players to Sarasota from all over the world. He hopes to make it into an annual charity event.
Jag joined Coldwell Banker Commercial in 2002 and has been successful at commercial brokerage in Sarasota since. The list of awards is long, however, being recognized as the top 5 producing team for Coldwell Banker Commercial worldwide is the proudest achievement to date.
